Picture Question and Answer
These visual question-and-answer cards are a fun way to check children’s understanding of the story. Kids can respond by saying the answer aloud, or the teacher can invite a child to come up, point to the correct picture, and name it.

Question & Answer Sheet
This is a sheet similar to the activity above. This one can be printed and copied for each student. Read the questions to the children and have them mark their answer by circling, stamping with a bingo dot marker, or coloring the answer. One option is to slip this into a page protector and have children use dry erase markers. That way, their answer can be changed if they need to, and there is less stress over getting a wrong answer.
