These picture cards can be printed and used for several activities:
- In pocket charts
- On flannel boards
- Graphs: e.g. “Which is your favorite animal?” or “Which is your favorite vehicle?”
- Matching: print two copies for children to match or use as a memory game
- Beginning sounds: match plastic letters to the pictures
- Syllables: have children clap and count the syllables in each word, then stamp the picture with the correct number of dots using a bingo dot marker
If you have any other ideas to use these cards, please contact me and I will include your idea on this page.

New to PreKinders, but have found lots of good things. One question. On the printable theme cards why do some of the squares have blue lines through them? Printed them out to color, but the lines are kind of hard to cover. Just curious.
Carla
When I print them, there are no blue lines. Make sure you have the newest version of Adobe Reader installed. Its also possible it could be something your printer is doing.
