There are 6 cards that represent the story, such as leper, sores on skin, one thanked Jesus, etc. There are 6 cards for things that were not in the story, such as tomb, fig tree, storm, etc.

Jesus and the Lepers Recall Sheet
On this Jesus Heals Ten Lepers recall sheet, children look at the pictures and decide which things were in the Bible story and which were not. They can circle, color, or mark the items with a bingo marker that belong in the story, helping them practice listening and remembering key details. There are 5 pictures they should mark. They should not mark: slingshot, trumpet blower, apple tree, or lion.

Picture Question and Answer
These visual question-and-answer cards are a fun way to check children’s understanding of the story. The teacher reads a simple question along with three possible answers, each shown with a picture to guide the children. Kids can respond by saying the answer aloud, or the teacher can invite a child to come up, point to the correct picture, and name it.

Bible Story Play Dough Mat
In this play dough mat activity, children use play dough to make spots on the leper’s skin. Then, they “wipe them away” to show how Jesus healed the lepers and made them well. There are two mats included: one with a man’s face and the other with a hand — use the mat you prefer or use both.

“Draw It” Sheets
On this “draw it” sheet, children will first draw spots on the leper’s hand. In the next section, they will draw the one man who came back to thank Jesus after he was healed.

There are 4 “true” cards, each featuring true facts accompanied by illustrations from the story, like “One man came back and told Jesus ‘thank you’.” Additionally, there are 4 “false” cards, which include incorrect statements about the story, such as “Jesus met three lepers.”

As you share the story of Jesus Heals Ten Lepers with your preschoolers, these activities will help them remember the details and connect with the important lesson of thankfulness. By sorting, drawing, playing, and creating, children not only recall the story but also learn that giving thanks to God is an important part of our faith.
