Gingerbread Play Dough Mats

Here is a new set of math play dough mats for Christmas and Gingerbread themes.

Gingerbread Play Dough Mats

The top of each mat says “Decorate the gingerbread house with [#] candies.” Children will identify the numeral, and count out that amount of candy pieces to put on the house. Children can create the candy by rolling pieces of play dough into a ball or other shapes. If you prefer to use something other than play dough, you could use floral flat marbles, foam cutouts, or even real candy (M&Ms or Skittles would work well).

Gingerbread Math Mat

I also made a mat that does not have a number, but simply says, “Decorate the gingerbread house with candy.” This mat is for toddlers who are not ready for counting yet, but need to practice fine motor skills with play dough.

Thank you so much for your generosity! My preschoolers have truly benefited from you. This is my first year back after staying home with my own boys and your site has been a true God send! When I am stuck in my planning, I just come here and get inspired and also find invaluable resources! God bless!

Hi, you used to have a great recipe for gingerbread scented playdoh on your website. I referred to it for years, but now I can’t find it. Can you help? Thank you!
