Favorite Color Graph with Print & Cut Printable

By Karen Cox | Affiliate Disclosure | Filed Under: Beginning of School, Colors

This Favorite Color Graph is a quick and easy large group activity — just print and cut. This graph would be great for the beginning of the year. Someone asked me to make this and this seemed like a perfect time of year for it.

Favorite Color Graph: Math for Preschool Pre-K

All you have to do to prepare this is print it out, cut it, and glue it onto a piece of chart paper or use it in a pocket chart. If you want to reuse this each year, you could laminate it and use it in a pocket chart. Or, just attach it to chart paper with glue or tape to have a chart you can post on the classroom wall.

Children can graph their choice by…

  • Sticking a sticky note with their name on it on the chart paper graph.
  • Placing an index card with their name on it in the pocket chart.
  • Sticking a sticker on the chart.
  • Placing a photo on the chart (print and copy black and white photos on the copy machine).

This weather graph is a sample from a larger Graph Kit I posted in my Teachers Pay Teachers shop. There are 36 printable graphs for holidays and themes. If you used one of these graphs each week, it would cover a typical school year. I have other sets of graphs in the works. Here are some examples of the graphs you will find in the pack, including the Table of Contents page and Directions page. To purchase this set, click here: Graph Kit.

I bought this graph kit at the end of last year and am looking forward to using it this year as well. After we used the graph page to develop it, as a class we would then write about 3 sentences about what the graph shows us. You could keep this in your room as a book or as charts and then the kids love to take them home to hang in their bedrooms. Thank you for sharing your talents with us.

I would love to have the electronic file for your student names with pictures. Can you share this?
