End of Year Treat Bag Topper

Tomorrow is our last day of school! I made these treat bags for my students as part of their end of year gift. We also gave them a sand bucket with their name painted on it, and some of the children brought things to fill the buckets, such as sunglasses, sidewalk chalk, glow bracelets, and bubble solution. I put this treat bag in the bucket, also.

Popsicle Treat Bag Toppers for End of Year Student Gifts

Last year, I made an end of year treat bag topper for Goldfish crackers or Swedish fish candy.

These treat bags have four popsicles in them. Carefully tear the popsicles along the perforation in groups of four.

The clear treat bags (about the size of a lunch sack) are just the right size for four popsicles.

Staple or tape the treat bag topper to the top.

This cost me a total of $4.25. I bought a box of 100 popsicles for $3.25 and a package of clear treat bags for $1.00 at Dollar General.

I made a few different choices with “From” and “From Your Teacher”. Some say “Have a cool summer” and some say “See you later alligator. Have a cool summer.” To download, just click the buttons below.

this is adorable. I have 36 kids total so would probably only give two popsicles each. Is there a way to make the topper smaller? Love your ideas!!! You’ve been a great inspiration to me this year!

Thanks, Michele! The topper fits the bag, so I don’t think smaller would work unless you are not planning to put them in a treat bag?

Thank very much for the treat bag idea. Its very creative and I believe children will love it and take home to show to parents.

I will think of a similar thing like to do.

This is such a cool idea; combining a treat with a personal message to each child. I work at home year round (as a home daycare provider), but can still use this for other things. Thanks for the idea!

I don’t know. I could try it, but I was trying to make it fit the bag. I don’t like wasting paper, either. 🙂
