This is a flannel board set I made for the story Duck in the Truck, by Jez Alborough. This is a book my students have enjoyed for years and it fits great with our transportation unit.
I wasn’t aware until after I made this, but it looks like the book might be out of print. It is still available from sellers on Amazon Marketplace, and probably in local public libraries. There’s also a Duck in the Truck audio book app for the iPhone (can be used on iPad) in the iTunes store.

very interesting way of doing transportation , just love it.
thanks
Great going. Love the activity.
What do you recommend for making pieces with? I have used an interfacing fabric before but not sure correct weight. Thx
I just print on card stock, laminate them, and attach velcro to the back. Sometimes I attach a magnet & put them on a magnetic board.
You can also print out on light t-shirt transfer paper, iron onto white felt and cut out.
Thank you so much! We love Jez Alborough and all of his books! Great news though, Duck in the Truck is not out of print. Usborne Books & More owns Kane Miller Publications (who has rights to this book in the US) and they’ve pulled all of their books from Amazon. You can find it here if you need a copy: http://h1277.myubam.com/p/825/duck-in-the-truck
