Here is a new set of math play dough mats for Winter themes.
The top of each mat says “[#] snowflakes are falling.” Children will identify the numeral, and count out that amount of snowflakes to place on the mat. Children can create the snowflakes/snowballs with bits of white play dough. {Just have them roll small bits of play dough into little “snowballs”.} If you prefer to use something other than play dough, you could use white pom poms or foam snowflake shapes.
I also made a mat that does not have a number, but simply says, “Make some falling snowflakes.” This mat is for toddlers who are not ready for counting yet, but need to practice fine motor skills with play dough.

I love your counting mats. I use playdough or mini erasers. I would love to see more.
BethAnn, glad you like them! I am planning to make more!
Hi Karen,
Thanks for the snowman number mats. I will use them with my math groups; and for the advanced groups, I may be able to write higher numbers to make a number book.
Thanks!
