Polka Dot Classroom Labels

I am so infatuated with polka dots this year! Actually, it started when I was a little girl… I wanted all of my dresses to be long and polka dotted. :)

I have seen several pictures of classrooms on Pinterest lately with cute polka dot labels, but I haven’t been able to find them in the store, so I made some myself. I am making these available on Teachers Pay Teachers, but they are FREE. All you have to do is go here to get the Polka Dot Labels and hit the “Download Now” button. It’s a Word file, so you can type your own text onto the labels.

I would really appreciate it if you would give me positive ratings & feedback on TPT if you like this set. You can also hit the “Follow Me” button beside my photo to keep updated on what I post there! If you like the Polka Dot Labels, you might also be interested in the Polka Dot Kids Classroom Theme.

I too LOVE polka dots and so I thank you for sharing these. It would have taken me FOREVER to create these because computers and I don’t get along. A million thanks! I can’t wait to use them.

  5. Thanks Eilis & Isabel!

  6. Eilis, thanks for the printouts. I plan to use the smaller colored ones in our “studio/office” area. (writing and art centers). They are the perfect size for labeling our supplies’ containers.

  12. These are SO CUTE! I just blogged about your generosity (I didn’t put a picture of the blank borders so I don’t think I violated your terms of use- but check to make sure it is okay just in case!!) and directed popel to your TPT page. These are perfect for the classroom and I have so many ideas for them! Thank you so much for sharing your hard work!!!

  17. Just started this adventure of reading AND learning from all you smart and clever young teachers! I’m returning to my love and passion of exploration and discovery with young children. Specifically I decided to return to a faith based teaching position, BUT I’m in VPK. All of my experience is from first grade! Wow! What an eye opener. I did sub work this spring, so I got some good exposure. My classroom has been used for summer camp. I still don’t have free access till Thursday, so I’m trying to do as much as possible. The room is in desperate need of being totally and completely reorganized! Even I know it’s not inviting! Thank you, thank you! Ihave learned so much already from just reading and exploring. Just wanted you to know how much appreciate it. BTW, I’m in Central Florida!

  18. Thank u so much!!!!!!!!!!!! I love these!

  19. I’m so obsessed also! I have been looking and couldn’t find them, you’re so awesome for sharing! Thanks a bunch!

  23. Thank you so much! These are just what I was looking for. I putzed around for a loooong time yesterday trying to make my own in black/white and was not thrilled with the results. These are perfect! :)

  24. LOVE the polka dots!! I have Micosoft Office 10. I’m having a hard time figuring out how to get my own text in the box. Can you help?

    • Carrie,
Unfortunately, I don’t have Microsoft Office 10 & have never used it, so I don’t know. I have directions for Word 2007 included in the file. You have to draw a text box on top of the label. There are many tutorials online for Microsoft programs, try you tube.

  25. Thanks so much for this great download. Your label are so bright and inviting for the classroom. Off to door some re-organization for my Pre-K classroom!

  28. Is there any way to type onto the labels within the word document? I’ve tried everything I can think of and can’t get it to work. I hate my handwriting so I’d rather just type in them and hit print!

Thank you so much! I have been looking all over the web trying to find some labels I could use.

  41. Hello! I just love the polka dot labels (FREE)! I can’t figure out how to type in them. How do I save them in Microsoft Word? I have them on my desktop with Adobe. Thanks so much. I will be using orange and black === my school colors

    • Hi! The zip file included both a Word Doc and a PDF file as well as all of the individual images of the labels so you can insert them into any program you want to use.

  42. I love these labels! Any chance you could make some smaller ones to use with Avery 5160 labels?

  44. Hi Karen,
