Write the Room

Write the Room

To use this printable, children ask a teacher to fill in the blank with their dictation: “Do you like _____?” Some children ask for the word to be spelled while they write the letters. They go around the room asking other children their question, and writing the names in the yes/no boxes. If they don’t know how to write a name, they copy it from a name tag or ask the child to write it.

  2. love this…i will be using this everyday for a while as a “recording info” activity!! thanks!

  3. I love the idea about writing the room. If you have other forms for writing the one, I would love them. I teach Pre-k 4.

  4. We use write the room but the children write their own message with their choice of yes or no, written in their own spelling. I am in the full day learning inquiry based programme. The children love to ask questions and do this task.
