I created this website as an easy way to exchange ideas with fellow teachers that I meet in the online community. To see many more teacher web sites, see my links page.

About Me


A little about myself...

my photo

I have a Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education from Valdosta State University. I graduated in 1997. While in college, I also participated in the VSU Early Childhood Study Abroad Program in Great Britain, partnered with St. Andrew's College in Glasgow, Scotland.

I am certified to teach grades PK-5th, and I've been trained in High/Scope, InTech, and Math Their Way.

I have been teaching for 9 years (all in Pre-K).

I'm a member of:
NAEYC (National Association for the Education of Young Children)
NAREA (North American Reggio Emilia Alliance)

My interests and hobbies (other than teaching) are reading, photography, music, history, and computers.
