School Word Cards

I’ve created another new word card set to add to the Picture-Word Cards collection. This set has school-themed words, such as crayons, glue, paint, scissors, paper, lunch box, etc.

These cards can be used in a pocket chart in your writing center or a word wall. You can also hook them together on a binder ring to make a picture dictionary, or you may want to post them around the classroom near the items to label them. Use the blank set to write words in other languages or other writing styles (e.g. D’Nealian), or use them for modeled writing activities.

    And yet another super help from you, Karen! Thank you so very much for sharing the hundreds of ideas you do. Being back in the classroom after many. many, many years has been a challenge in many ways because teaching is done in a very different way now. There has been so much to learn so I can give the best to the children – and you have been my most important teacher. This past year has been my first back, and not a theme has gone by that I have not used your knowledge, ideas, tips and resources. I am so hugely grateful for you and all you share. May God bless you and all you do as you share the gifts He has given to you. Thank you.
