In the new year, I’m going to be doing a little first-of-the-year cleaning on my website, mainly updating some pages, adding new photos where needed, and a bit of general “housekeeping”. It’s also a good time of year to evaluate the site, and “sweep out” things that are not useful.
Out with the Old…
Because the Forum is rarely ever used, I have decided to remove it from the site. The forum was added by request of some visitors, however, it is the least used area of this website. A forum is not easy to run, I’ve found out. It takes a lot of time to keep people interested, especially since there are so many other places where people can communicate (groups, other forums, Twitter, Facebook, etc.) I would rather devote my time to adding new Pre-K resources to the site than spend time trying to drum up interest in a forum.
The software that runs the forum is very difficult and frustrating to update, but not updating the software is not an option because it would leave my site vulnerable to hackers. I would be happy to do the upkeep on the forum if it was used by visitors, but it is just not used enough to make it worthwhile.
Just in case there might be a post on the forum with information that would be useful to someone, I am going to leave the forum online for at least the next ten days. If there is a message on the forum that interests you, please print it or copy and paste into a file to save to your computer. The forum will go offline on (or after) January 12. If you are interested in a forum for Preschool/Pre-K teachers, I highly recommend the Teachers.net Preschool Teachers Chatboard.
In with the New…
On a more positive note, I will be adding an area to the site for Preschool Christian resources and printables. I do already have an area with a few things, but I’m going to re-do the whole Christian Resources section and I will be improving it and adding lots more. I know this won’t be of interest to everyone, but hopefully it will be useful to those who teach in Christian preschool programs, homeschools, or Sunday schools.
Thanks so much for being a part of my site! As always, feel free to make requests or suggestions, and I will do my best to make it happen!

I hope you will post some of the Christian ideas on Facebook too.
Thanks so much for your website. You have been an inspiration to me! I teach pre-school in a Georgia public school.
Thanks, Shirley!
I use your website all the time for my Ga Lottery Prek. Thanks so much for all your hard work and ideas!
Keep’em coming!!!
Thanks, Gail!
Just wanted to write a quick note of thanks for all your resources. I’m new to your site but have thoroughly enjoyed it so far. I have a 4 year old I home school as well as two older kids in school and then I do a neighborhood story time once a week and we just love all your resources. Thanks for all your hard work!
Thanks, Anna!
I love this website. I am a long-time teacher but a rookied pre-k teacher so I’m always looking for ideas and your site is the best yet! Thank you
Thanks, Gerry!
Thank you so much for this site! Our Christian preschool began a Pre-K class this year for older four year olds and young five year olds. This site has been one of my top resources. I look forward to the Christian resources you will be sharing!
You have such a great site, I try to check it out as often as I can. I have a 3 year old daughter and 20 month old twin boys, and we do so many fun projects, and several of them have come from here. I both “Tot School” my kids and my daughter goes to Preschool as well, my kids learn a lot and are doing very well! Keep up the great work on your site, looking forward to many wonderful ideas.
Thanks Mae!
Your website is wonderful and I appreciate the variety of ideas and resources available. Thanks for being willing to share! You’re a blessing to all Pre-K teachers.
I just wanted to say a HUGE thank you for your website! I have been teaching for four years and have found very few quality websites to use as a resource. I have only just found it, but find your website very easy to navigate with a ton of relevant/useful information. Thank you for all your hardwork, I know that compiling all this information is not an easy task, nor is maintaining a website…especially if you are teaching! I appreciate you!!
Thanks so much, Ashley!
